About Us
When the good people of Lewisham saw the fantastic merchandise that our sister store House of Catford was producing, they became inundated with requests for goods which represented other areas of the borough and the House of Lewisham was born.
We describe ourselves as a neighbourhood store that celebrates our beloved area with an extensive range of merchandise including clothing, homeware and the best-selling Lewisham Cookbook.
We act as an unique outlet for creative and entrepreneurial Lewishamites including Lewisham Gin, Brockley Brewery, Good & Proper Tea, Pat & Pinky’s, Mont 58, Catford Dogs and Sophie Home who we've collaborated with to develop exclusive products you won’t find anywhere else.
We try to be as environmentally sustainable as possible and all our products are packaged in recycled and recyclable packaging and sustainably delivered by cargo bike.
We support good causes including the Sickle Cell Society, Lewisham Food Bank, Evelyn Community Store, Lewisham Local, the Refugee Cafe and the Bank of Things so when you buy from us you can look good and do good!
Recently we have joined up with House of Catford and are ‘popping up’ at 17/18 Catford Broadway every Saturday and Sunday from 10-5 where we pay our lovely, local all-female team the London Living Wage.
